You probably all know this Vette for a long time, but I just found this one today.

I got an email from Jeff Romm with following info

This was one of the research vehicles used to develop the
Supernatural ZR-1/LT5. It has the full Aerobody, plus roll bar and all of
the suspension and exhaust mods. It's a real Monster!

how much do you think the price will go up??? i believe it was for sale at 45k.

$ 45 is a fair price I think, with the original SNAT LT5 package.

there is/was a ZR1 aerobody for sale in Texas with a doug rippie package for $32 (the purple with grey interior)

can someone forecast the lotto numbers for me ? :D

I am now 100% convinced I will be the future owner of a ZR1 with aerobody

the B2k is lovely but not suitable as a daily driver (knowhutimean)

Question: Why do you say the B2K is not suitable as a daily driver? I drive mine to work just about every day and haven't had any problems. I park in a private/reserved spot and the people that do park near me respect my car. I keep a good coat of wax/polish on her. I've been doing this for over 4 years and she runs and looks great.

Sorry, let me re-phrase.

I think 90% of the B2k owners drive minimum miles a year cause high mileage ones do drop in value.

also see the discussions at the ZR1 forums.

and for my personal reason Id rather replace a stock L98 or LT1 than the B2K engine.

so please do not feel offended,

No offense taken, I was just curious as to your reasoning. Being in the military and living on base, I'm only 3 miles away from my shop; so basically, I just warm her up every day to keep her juices flowing. Personally, I think these cars were built to be driven and if you let them sit you might run into more problems then if you get out and drive them. Also, I didn't buy my car as an investment, I bought it to enjoy, so I don't mind putting a few miles on her every year. Right now she has less then 70K and still runs like new.

We are thinking about putting her up for sale in October and moving on to a new toy; by then she might have a little over 70K and I might not get as much as one with less milage; but then again, mine is better shape then some I've seen with less then 50K and I've enjoyed playing with her for the last 4 years

Seems like that is a good price, given the hisory of the car, and the documentation. That's a prime-time podium car at B-Js Scottsdale auction in a few years. That said, condition is everything, and if it was a test mule, you would have to really go over it.

I'd take it in a heartbeat for $45 if it checked out. (and I had the $45):cry

I have not heard the actual price from corvette mike sales

but they promissed me some detailed pictures of this beauty.

anyone wanna buy my 1986 ?? $ 45K ?? ;)
I will even ship it from Europe for that price.

I've drove one of those!! Except the one I drove was two tone orange colored. Oh man, what a rush........the whole 20 feet I moved it was incredible!!
