Hi

Why is that nobody try's to sell, buy or trade here?? While l look at the other forum l just feel that the people lurking there are not the kind of people that l would want to deal with. Now l'm not saying that all of them are like that but again there are an awful lot of them.

I'm looking to trade my C5 coupe loaded and perfect low mileage TR 02 for a C5 vert 02 or later plus cash or a C6 coupe or vert + $$

Please steer me in the right direction. I tried a Corvette Specialist and he wanted my vette but the vert he said was like mine was ??????

Hate to bad mouth anybody but after a 100 mile trip each way and this was my second trip l told him l would come only once more.

I have been into vettes since 1968 so do l have to tell you!!

Thanks

Alan

:w Alan,

The Corvette Action Center does have a special section dedicated to folks Selling or Looking to Buy a Corvette ;)

Just below the header at the top of the page is a drop down menu titled "Shop" and under this menu you will find "Corvettes For Sale"

You can place your ad to sale and in the descripton put in all the information about trading or selling your car. There is a section that includes folks to post about Looking for ????.

Good luck with the horse trading ;)

Hi Yoda

What l'm trying to say is that there are no ads unless you count a couple of dealers and maybe one private party here and there!

Is there a real reason or it is what it is??

I know for sure that would rather deal with a member here then the other corvette sight.

Thanks

Alan

I don't have a clue to why more members don't use the service here for buying or selling Corvettes ;shrug .

With Ebay and all the other internet sites that specialize in selling Corvettes the Action Center is not one of the big shakers and movers of selling Corvettes, but then some members have sold their Corvettes via the Action Center.

Sorry but I just don't have any great explaination for ya... Guess it's more about personal preference and what they think works best for them ;shrug

Other forums, especially the "big one," have dozens of ads, but don't confuse quantity with action. Very few units change hands there. Lots of testing the market, and lots of tire kickers, little real action.

;shrug I hate to show my ignorance, but here goes. What forum is the "big one"?

Alan,

Talk to me about what your Corvette has...mileage, tranny, options, etc. We always have a good selection of C5 and C6's, and our inventory changes almost daily.

I would guess there are lots of people here that are also members of the "other site" Its just a case of one site being known for somthing and one site being known for somthing else.

Lots of the listings on the other site are from people that just joined so they can run a free add anyway.

I like this thread, as time goes on I hope it picks up traffic. Good luck Yoda.
