Pulling the motor Do I need to remove the motor mount that bolted to the block before I can remove it all the way.
I tryed to Cherry pick up But I need Anouther 1/2 to 3/4 of inch before it free of the frame motor mount ears on the frame.
The rear of the motor is starting to hit the fire wall as I pull up on he motor already.
The Trany will not free it self I tryed to pry on it lightly no luck comming apart so far.
I have removed 6 Bell housing bolts and removed the TQ converter bolts still not seperating so far.
I have a jack Stand under the trany inspection pan to support it.
What am I missing here HELP.:W

Yes, Lift the engine up slightly, then remove the three bolts holding the mount to the block....going back in is the same way...trust me...done it three times this year already!!!!!

Thank You Very much.

3 X thats to many times for me LOL once is enough LOL.

Next is to pull the trany and send that out to get built.

Like told my wife I in no big hurry to get this done this is my fun car I still have my 2006 Truck to get around in.

Mite as well do it correct so I dont have to do it again.:upthumbs

It was 2X more than I intended..but on the bright side, I can do it myself now in just over 4 hours! :beer

MUCH easier to let the transmission stay in the car! Don't even need to take the hood off.

Thanks

Thanks everyone it's out.
