Need Help with C4 Radiator Fan not working!!!

Hi! I hope someone has some ideas. I just changed the fan motor and relay on the radiator, and the fan still will not come on when i start the car. Can anyone tell me what else to look for?? Thanks!!

Tha fan does not come on when the engine starts. The fan comes on when the engine gets up to a specific temp OR when the a/c is turned on. It also has fuses and relays.

Disconnect wire to fan switch in head and ground it ; key on; does fan run?.
If not you have a wiring problem
If fan works with switch wire grounded ,run engine up to temp (225+ ) and see if fan runs.
If not ;fan switch in head is bad

The rad fan motor and relay are both new that i replaced. Thank you for the information though..and diagram! I may have to get someone that knows more about wiring to help me though! The person that had the vette before had screwed around alot with the wiring in it and i know that's why i have so much trouble with the car right now. I'll probably be back with more questions! Thanks!

Fan switch is in pass side head between # 6 and 8 spark plugs.
Turn key on , disconnect plug to switch , touch to head so metal part inside plug makes contact ; does fan run?
Easy
