I was trying to put the bronze gear and bushings on the motor. Got it out of the headlight housing and tried to take the gear out. It wouldn' budge. Found out that there were 2 types. 1 of them (Left), you could take the gear out without issue. The Right side, according to MAM, you have to take the motor off to clear the gear for removal. Well, I broke both bolts in the lower housing.

Is there anyone who can help? Do I need to go to a machine shop to drill out the bolts or what?

Drilled it out and put a SS screw, washers and lock washers and a nut. All is well.

Credit goes to corvetteronw n CorvetteForum. I was thinking of getting a drill press to do it but used the vice and an electric drill.
