Making real progress on interior restoration , aside for the few dumb questions I had ...how does it go? "there are no dumb questions ..only dumb...." that cant be right :rotfl Any ways ..is there a method / trick for installing the hinge wires to the frame on the rear compartments ? Doesnt seem possible unless I cut the wire into 1" pieces !!!

The AIM doesnt show the assembly. I already have the frame mounted ,after installing the new carpet , guess I have to take the frame out and start again :mad

...The AIM doesnt show the assembly....

Frame and doors came from the manufacturer already assembled and with the doors carpeted. All they needed to do on the assembly line was to select the correct color and install the locks.

Thanks guys , It wasnt the cable I was referring to but the steel/aluminum rods that joined the lid and frame sections at the hinge , finally finagled it in but had to cut the rods and feed them in a section at a time with a needlenose pliers ..
...is anything ever easy ???;shrug

Neal

nope never is easy, sorry thought you were referring to the wire for the battery box....
