Welcome! There are great Corvette roads around Silver City. I remember them fondly from my times out west.

My first vette
This is my first vette. Had it about 8 years now. It is stock. I have owned other "hot rods" ('64 Barracuda, '65 Mustang, ? Stealth ) but always wanted to get into a vette. It has the auto trans and as you well know, has the cross fire in it. Been changing parts in it occasionally, but seems this past year (135,000 miles) I've had more changeouts than usual (starter, air pump, all 6 u-joints) along with the normal stuff like brake shoes, recent tune up, sensors and battery. Did have the heads off 4 years ago and did an upper end due to me getting it hot. And I forgot who mentioned it above in this thread, something about "sounds like the makings of a great western song"....that's funny!!! :L I bet even "Billy" would get a kick out of that!!! Thanks for the welcome, all!!!
