Oil - 10W30 v. 15W40

I have been looking for Shell Rotella T or Chevron Delo 400 LE in 10W30. All I can find is 15W40. Is 10W30 still made and would there be a problem using the 15W40 of either make in a '77 with about 43K miles? The car is driven April thru October.

15W40 will not be a problem in a 77 other than reducing power very slightly and increasing oil temp very slightly.

I'd find a retailer who carries Delo 400E and ask them if they'll order you a case of 10W30 which is a great choice for your engine.

I use 10-40 in my vette and 15-40 in my pickup.
