The original owner swapped the factory leather one out for a plain chrome ball for some reason. Anyone have a good used one for sale?

Thanks! :thumb

Do you know if you have the stock OEM shifter handle, with the cut out for the key way (or demon key as some call it) on the OEM leather knob? The stock OEM shifter has 9/16-18 threads on it and a key way cut out in it for the OEM knob.

No, I don't but I'll pull the knob off and check. right now it is just a big chrome ball and it does screw off.

Thanks!

I do have some OEM shifter parts, the OEM leather shift knob will only work on a OEM shift lever, and you will need a key way or "demon key" if you don't already have one to get the leather shift knob to work. Let me know what you have and need.

My car still has the original shifter handle. I'll need the knob, cover and demon key.
Thanks!

Ok, let me take a look and I will see what I have, might take a few days as work is really busy and I need to "find" where I carefully stored them. Remind me again by thurs. if I have not posted back sooner.

Alrighty, found my boxes of parts. I do have a good leather OEM shift knob, plastic 6 speed cover, and key way or demon key, what ever you want to call it. I don't know any pricing on these as I wasn't planning to sell them. Make me an offer. Plus shipping.

I'm sorry you went to all the trouble to hunt the parts there, but I just bought one from another forum member for $35 complete with the key. From what others are asking that seemed to be an exceptionally good price. Thank you for all your trouble anyway.
