Cant make Funfest on Saturday this year. Has anyone ever gone on a Friday? How many people there on Friday,what was it like? Thanks Jim

Originally, the show was just Saturday & Sunday. After many years of the show gaining in popularity, Mike decided to go with Friday, Sat & Sun. Friday is probably the best day to be there. Less folks than on Sat and very easy to get around. On Sunday, the numbers really tail off. Less Vettes to look at.

Like lt4man said, the numbers won't match Saturday. However, the count is still pretty impressive compared to most shows.

Friday is a great day to go to FunFest. Like they said, less people, but it will surprise you just how many will be there on Friday. I plan on going Friday this year!

In the past, MA Funfest was a Sat/Sun event.

In 2004, for their BIG 30 yr. celebrtion during the name change, etc., the event went to Fri/Sat./Sun and has remaind a tree day event since.

While eveything above is accurate, I'll add that in the past, Sat/Sun were "still the busy days" officially, MA has made some changes this year, esp. w/ seminars and awards, making Fri/Sat the emphasis days. I suspect that SUnday will be very relaxed this year.

Good luck. I tried 2 weeks ago and found none. I used several on-line search engines (Orbitz, Travelax, etc) to no avail.

Camp Lakewood http://www.camplakewoodcampground.com/ has a tent site available. I just un-reserved one.
