I was reading in Motor trend today that the new C-7 and or the new ZR1 or blue devil is going to be priced at somewhere around $95K or more. I have to wonder if the chevy dealerships out there are capable of servicing these cars? I say this cause I work for someone who owns a Merceedes Benz 600SL roadster which has a 12 cyl engine in it and I sometimes take it in for service. And I can tell you there is a world of difference in service at MB dealership and the local Chevy dealership. I have a very poor time in finding a decent run chevy dealership who can service my C-5 without a real difficult time for myself. What do you think about the issue of service at chevrolet dealership? I just had some work done at my local dealership and the work wasn't done right and the car had grease and stains all over the shale interior when the car was returned to me, really disappointing service.:confused

I don't know, but at a $95K price tag, I won't have to worry about it. .:boogie

I have to agree with everyone, I don't believe that I will ever own a corvette any newer than I presently own. As for dealers, I have never taken one of my GM cars to a dealer where it did not come back with something damaged or wrong. I try to avoid a dealer at all cost.

killain, I don't know how close you are to Philadelphia, but we have a number of service and club listings in that area. You might stop by and see if you can find a better mechanic. If you've tried any of those listed, leave a review so the rest of us know to stay away from them!

I'm fortunate to have a dealer service dept. which is top notch and respects both myself and the Vette:cool

My dealerships service dept. treats me AND the vette really good!!! I have no complaints about using them. Heck, I'm allowed to stand there while the mechanic is working on the car and actualy learn a few things!!!

Yep, mine replaced my F45 shocks under GMMP to the tune of about $1700 and Brian the tech took all my wheels off for me so I could clean the inner barrels etc. at the dealership. He's done several N/C things for me also.... Once a year or so I get the guys several pizzas at lunch time and gave Brian $40 not long ago for all he does. Hey, the guy has small kids and I told him to get a tank of gas on me.
It's all in having the opportunity to cultivate friendships and treat people the way you'd want to be treated.
