Sitting down tonight and catching my breath, I cannot believe that we are already well into the month of March :eek

While I was fortunate to have not gotten much snow, which would have cut the driving season short, I really did not have much spare time to drive my cars as I would have liked.

Looking over the events for 2008 that were suggested, I discussed the upcoming show dates and plans with the COG committee we have now established this past winter, and we decided trim down the list a bit. While we are still hopeful for the open house to happen this spring, there will be plenty to keep us busy in the summer! In fact, at the end of the summer, there are some events scheduled, back to back – that’s just the way it works…

Please review the

events schedule (SEE the EVENTS TAB at the COG Site) and plan on attending the events that you can.
We had an awesome turnout at ALL the events for 2007 and by the looks of what is on the books for 2008, this may be the best year yet!

One VERY IMPORTANT detail that will be key for the 2008 events – BOOK EARLY!!!! That is my best advice and in speaking with the event hosts, if you do not commit to these shows at least 4 months in advance, chances are that you might be sleeping in your car – or at least in a place, one town over… The COG committee has also looked at where we stayed last year for some events and if we have the chance to get a block of rooms, then they will of course be offered, first come-first served. Remember the key – BOOK EARLY!!!!

As always, your suggestions and feedback is welcomed – YOU ARE what has made these events a success in the past, and we look to make them even bigger for the future! :m

Oh come now... we know just how much mileage you can put on that shiny RED CTTC from the Garage to the Enclosed trailer :L

I put about 8 miles on the car in 2007 :crazy

Anyways, be sure to check out the website and the updates that have been made - especially in the EVENTS Tab.

Also, if you are not on the Callaway Owners Group email list, drop an email and we'll get you on board :w

We just sent out an email last night with all sorts of updates and important information :cool

;LOL

Big John,

The important news does not open. Everything in that left column is Important News.

However, the specific new feature Chris refers to is the Callaway Owners Registration Form. To get to it, you click on the link word "Here" which is underlined and indicates that it is a web link.

That will take you to the new Callaway Owners Group registration page which has a form which is to be filled out.

This is our official registration form so that people who register can get e-mail updates on the groups activities. Until now, we relied on an informal list of e-mail addresses. This form helps us formalize the information which will be passed on to Callaway Cars.

John, you can click the links above, or follow Luigi's directions and either way, you will get there.

For more than 3 vehicles, please submit the form twice - once for each "set" of cars :upthumbs :beer

LETS SEE WITH FOUR CALLAWAY CORVETTES, ONE CALLAWAY C8 CAMARO AND ONE CALLAWAY 550 SSR.
DO I REGISTER JUST THE VETTES OR ALL SIX CALLAWAYS?

:eyerole

I had to register with no Callaways. ;squint:

LOL, at least Surf and I can be in the same boat.

Are we all supposed to register with this new system, or only if we haven't registered before?

Jon, yes, please register with this new system - this will do two things:

It will help keep things current, and it will also help us with sending something to registered owners, once available ;)

Thanks :beer
