I was checking on availibility on mine in case I needed one. I talked to Alex or Alan in service at Superior Chevrolet in Shawnee Mission, KS and he said they sent theirs to a place in Irvine, CA to get them rebuilt. He said it took about 2 months....usually, your car will still run without it.

i ordered one a year ago for my 96 at the dealers diagnosis for the car dying and not restarting, but live and learn it wasn't the problem. so i have one in my garage near Abilene TX, currently i live in Houston, if you are interested and it will work in you car let me know

Good luck; the CCM sends a data signal to the ECM allowing the injectors to fire. No signal , no start.Even a fault in a system monitored by the CCM ( like a bad earth on the motion sensor for the Air bags) will give no start. The item in the link shown is a ECM ; not a CCM.
