Anyone running the Dynomax Super Turbo's?

Are they very loud? Any cabin resonance?

I run them on my C3 and like them allot. They're only slightly louder than the stock mufflers but have a more mellow tone. After a year or so they tend to get a little louder but not obnoxious. I have a crossover pipe on mine which helps mellow it out some too I think. At 70 mph in my car there is a tiny drone sound, it's no big deal just something different. At that speed motor is turning around 1700 in OD, at higher or lower revs it goes away.

I hate loud mufflers, these have worked out good for me.

I had them on my stock 1988 vette for 1 week. I'm not sure if this is a C4 or a C4/L98 issue but the interior noise was a killer. Outside they sounded great. I also installed the special rear y-pipe with cross over tube to reduce resonance. Not sure if LT1s have the same issue.

I don't know. That's why I posted..It's a 95' application.

I don't want too much resonance though but the stock mufflers are rediculously quite.My wife's 4-Runner is throatier than my 2 Vettes.

If you still had them it wouldn't be quite as loud. They might sound good with mine havingthe CAT's ?

Yes I think you're right, the CAT's might tone down any chance of resonance.........like the old exhaust resonators. Really though, they're not loud at all, they just give a deeper tone to the exhaust slightly louder than the stock units. They don't give any hint of that "blat-t-t-t-t" noise you hear from a straight thru muffler.

Did you have your CAT's on.? If not,could be why it was so loud.
