I checked out my spare tire and cleaned under the car today, but there was no jack handle to get the tire off!

I found a jack handle from my 1992 Deville that looks identicle to the stock Corvette one (and it worked to get the spare off), but I am having a hard time storing it behind the passenger seat because it does not fit.

The handle is 15in long when it is closed... does anyone know if this is the same as the Corvette Jack? Also, how does it store in the styrofoam?

Thanks!

DID YOU LOOK

Seems to me some years had them stored under the hood. (underside of hood beside fenderwell):beer

On the 1995 C4 that I used to have the jack handle was under the driver's seat and the jack was in the storage compartment in back of the passinger seat...you have to put the driver's seat all the way forward to see it....the handle that is....

Just looked at your web site...very nice...you made mention of no glove compartment so you have to use the center console...did you know that there is storage in the arm rest on the doors? Just lift up on the top half of the arm rest and there is a small storage area in each arm rest...

Yes Very True! It reminds me of James Bonds hidden compartments!

Was the jack handle free under the seat, or is there a special holder or something?

There are 2 clamps and 2 wing nuts that hold them on the seat track mount studs in the floor!!:thumb

THANKS ALL

Thank you everyone! I found the original jack under the drivers seat like you said. I would have never looked there; I figured it would be with the jack itself.

Thanks Again Everyone!
