1993 40th Aniversary
Hello all,

New to the site but not new to Corvettes. As a young man I had a 78 Pace Car for a few years prior to PCS'ing to Germany and I just recently bought a 93 40th Aniversary model. (Got an AWESOME deal on it.)

Originally from the Blue Ridge of Virginia, but have settled in the not-so-great-plains of Texhoma.

Spent the last 23 years or so in the Army with the vast majority of it at Fort Bragg. Retired as an E8 (On a sidebar, I made the E9 promotion list but Branch's idea of a promotion present was to send me back to Iraq for a third time. I told them that between Panama, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan, I had been all I could be and that I was submitting my retirement packet in lieu of promotion.)

I've lurked around the site, mainly in the tech areas and found it to be a great resource for the 'Vette owner. I look forward to interacting with y'all and adding what I know/learn to the collective knowledge base.

RLTW

Mike,
Let me be the first to welcome you to the :CAC

Hang onto that 40th Anniversary edition- that color is quite hard to find. How about posting some pictures when you get a chance?

Nice corvette and welcome to the CAC; you will find many of us here that are retired and enjoying the life without the four letter word "work". Let me second what Jane Ann said, thanks for your service.

Welcome to the site. I'm a retired veteran myself, US NAVY CPO, so it always nice to say welcome to a fellow service member.

Well then let me be the second to welcome you to the CAC! Hey I'm from Oklahoma too!:w
I see you're in OKC. I'm about 2 hrs SW of there in a little town named Walters. We get up to OKC once a month or so, mainly to hit Barnes and Noble or do some carting over at Pole Position Racing. (The carts at Frontier City SUCK!)

And thank all of you for your "Thanks for Service" comments.

Welcome to the CAC!

from your old "Station" Country..

It was a hard decision, but I wanted to spend more time with the fam and some old injuries were starting to nag at me a bit. So it was the right time for me to hang up my boots.
