Thanks for the tip!
I was struggling trying to find the right holder and poof...saw your idea and tried it. So far so good! Up and out of the way. Great idea.
I am a happy camper now.
Thanks again.
I have had an LPE Superram on and off several times with no problem except it takes time. The torque numbers are awesome with this intake. You will love it on the street.
Do it if you answer yes to the following.
1. You want better performance.
2. You don't mind shifting a little more often.
3. You want to use 5th gear more.
It will be less than 400 RPM higher at 70MPH.
You will not regret it. I promise.

Bought it that way and fixed her up a bit.
She was set up for autocross...hence the low HP and high torque numbers. LPE 385, superram, LT4 heads, and lots of other goodies like alcon brakes,Z07,lowered, roll bar, GS wheels and flares.

It is now a 385
LPE chassis dyno 364 and 422 at the rear wheels in 99
Only a few more mods since.
With no traction and Street tires.. 12.7@115 now
Need to get another set of wheels and drag radials!
I have been looking for the instructions for installing this! I have one on my car, it came already installed. I can help you with the way mine is installed, can you send the instructions? The thing behind the coil is the knock sensor. I will take some pics and post them for you.
Titanium Bolts
Would anyone be interested in buying Titanium bolts for this to reduce unsprung weight? Maybe a package with nuts?
What length would you want?
Stock?
1" longer?
2" longer?
Just getting a read. If there is enough interest, I may put something together.

I contacted Sumitomo about 315/35/17 and was told they are not going to be availible in the II. Only the old tread style. Bummer They do look good, I hope they are as good as they look.

Anyone else have an LPE 383? I would like to talk to you. I am not the original owner and have many questions. Anyone care to talk? I love the engine and I am pretty sure I do not have all of the documentation from LPE.
