The location is a little in doubt. I got a quick look from under the passenger side. It was on the side of the freeway and I didn't feel like rolling around under the car right then.
I am 99% sure it was the driver's front quadrant though.

This was a huge help: I found the switch and jammed something between the switch and the brake pedal to shut off the lights for now.
I still don't see how to adjust it though... visibility is near zero up in there and I don't know what I am looking for anyway :) I wiggled and pushed the switch...
Same problem with brake lights...

According to a previous thread, it looks like the problem is the U-Joint. Now I am trying to decipher some of the terms and find some parts. It will take me awhile to even figure out if I am in over my head ;)
