The C8 isn’t exactly a conservative design as delivered. It has folds, lines, grills and scoops as part of the overall design. I think that adding to the factory styling should be done with a light hand or it could be a hot mess.
My guess is that the shortages are happening throughout every manufacture’s supply chain, but the Vette is the only model sold out so there isn’t much tinkering that can be done with the line. It’s been a tough introduction year for the C8.

Generally speaking, all the major suppliers pretty much have late model replacements down pat. C.A, Mid America and Al Knoch, etc are good sources. One Forum member got replacement seat bottoms for a C4 from Al Knoch, and the color and grain were perfect matches.
