Have you ever ran a super servo on the street? I had one in here and the guy( MY Neighbor) said I wouldn't like it and took it out and put the corvette servo back in.
He said something about the servo he took out are known for braking bands.
Anyway we took it apart and we didn't only find...
Yes it does and it is out. Started about 10:00 this morning and just got done. Now I take it apart and see why there's now 3,4 working!
Thanks for the input though guy!
All I have is first, second and reverse no third or 4th. I moved the TV cable around with no change. Everyone else is telling me the tranny has to come out but it was just rebuilt 5 years ago and sat in a garage and the guy let water get into it somehow. When I dropped the pan the first time the...
Took it out today for a run. It will break the tires loose at 30 miles and hour just hitting the gas a little.
Something is wrong with my TV still. I adjusted it to the book and then by looking at the rod in the tranny making sure it is just touching the plunger at idle. While driving when I...
I can't find any numbers on this cable. I can push it all the way in but that would leave it too far off of the TV plunger inside the tranny, I just got the tranny fixed yesterday so I can drive it today and see what the shift's are doing. If it shifts OK I might just get a TPI TV cable and run...
Here is my cable, it is supposed to be attached to the other one beside it which is the Throttle cable coming out of the ASR, According to Corvette Generations. I have a clip in it and can lock it down but I have to push it all the way in which is how the book says to adjust it but it is a 1/4...
Every dealer I went to told me it was discontinued, all the restoration places told me my only chance to get one was find someone with one or Corvette generations and they told me it would be a hard find if I did find one.
So I don't know what to do at this point. Usually the restoration places...
Thanks
Thanks guy.
Now where would I post that I need a new TV cable or TV cable and throttle cable?
I was taking to the guy at Corvette generations and he told me that those two cables are supposed to be connected to each other and sold as one unit.
Would I have to post it on parts wanted...

I found the problem, I never seen a button like this one. It looked like an H shaped cylinder and I didn't know that it was a lock mechanism and it wasn't locked down and that's what made it look like a strange piece to me. So my whole sheath was moving and I didn't see the button under...
Hey guy's I have a big problem and I have a Service manual. When it talks about releasing the lock tab on the TV cable I'm stumped!
I have no tab on my 1992 LT1 automatic 700r4.
When I hit my throttle the TV cable bottoms out before the throttle reaches it's full throw and I can't find any way...

Here are the lines I have, the air valve line goes to the intake I'm pretty sure but the other ones from the cruise and the line coming out of the wiring harness and tank line, do they hook together? And there is a check valve involved here that goes somewhere between the tank and cruise...

I should be cranking this engine in the next day or so and I guess I will find out if that line coming out of the wiring harness is the vacuum source as soon as it is started. It's a 92 LT1 as you can see in the pic.
It's been completely rebuilt with all the best parts like forged crank...

I worded that wrong, the ASR Traction control is mounted on an EGR component (air divert valve)that has a big hose that goes to the electric air pump in the front by the vacuum canister and the other hose to that valve goes to the Tube on the manifold. So the vacuum line is not part of...
Driver Side vacuum lines
I guess there's no one out there with a 92 or 93 to tell me where the vacuum lines go from the ASR module huh?
Or if it is on the same line as the cruise control?
