Dont forget that you will need to change the shifter also. You will need a shifter that has the overdrive on it! The S-10 chevy pickup also had the 200r4 tranny too.The 700r4 is a stronger tranny, although it takes a little more modification to fit than the 200r4.

The summit tech guys are quite knowledgeable, and can tell you if your stock pushrods will work fine, or if you will need something better. If you want to change them, they can help you with that. Good luck!

John, I am almost certain they are Hooker headers and pipes. I bought them off ebay and the guy said they were on a 68 with the 427. They are black, although I wish they were the chrome ones. They are VERY well made! Bossvette, I can see that a hammer is going to be required to make them clear...

HI. From the center of the door lock to the REAR of the mirror base is 24 inches. From the top of the door to the top of the mirror base is 1 inch. Hope this helps! Dave

There is also the possibilty that the manifold could have a small crack, and THAT is where you hear the leak coming from. They are made of cast iron, however they DO crack! Check on the bottom side or even on the inside next to the engine and see if maybe it has a very small crack in it.
