There are adjustments for the headlights. If you look online you will find a lot of information pertaining to the headlights. One of the easiest things to do is to follow the linkage and see where it's binding up and then make the adjustments from there.

Put a test light between the wires going into your sending unit for the fuel pump circuit and then crank the car and see if it lights up. If it does then your problem is with the new fuel pump. You can also dry test it and see if the fuel pump motor is spinning.
If a belt or belts were loose then yes they will come off the pulleys. Most likely the cause of your problem was a loose belt which took the other one with it when it came off. Reinstall the belts and make sure they have the proper tension.
Charge the battery and then disconnect the positive cable and let it sit for a couple of days. If the battery is dead then you have a defective battery. If the battery stays charged then you have a parasitic draw.
