There are adjustments for the headlights. If you look online you will find a lot of information pertaining to the headlights. One of the easiest things to do is to follow the linkage and see where it's binding up and then make the adjustments from there. Loosen the 3 bolts on the bracket in...

Put a test light between the wires going into your sending unit for the fuel pump circuit and then crank the car and see if it lights up. If it does then your problem is with the new fuel pump. You can also dry test it and see if the fuel pump motor is spinning.

No it won't hurt the computer ,but the computer is not performing the way it was intended.

The distributor is where it gets its signal. If you have the original distributor reinstall it plug it in and you should be fine.
