PUT THE STINGER ON YESTERDAY....MUCH MUCH LOUDER THAN THE TOURING! hAD A FRIEND DO A DRIVE BY SINCE I WANTED TO HEAR IT FROM THE OUTSIDE...VERY COOL!!IM HAPPY NOW.

i checked the chevy /borla...was more at the dealership and it isn`t the stinger version,it is the touring model i assume since it has the same oval mufflers that my borlsa did. the stinger uses smaller round mufflers...

after talking to david borla,he agreed to exchange my not loud enough touring exhaust for the stinger...hope to get it on this week...very happy with the customer service at borla.

Went the aftermarket exhaust way...perhaps a body shop needing a stock exhaust for a rear end hit repair?? excellent condition,make an odder...thanks

Well I installed the Borla system...and was very dissapointed that it isn`t much more aggressive sounding....I should`ve gotten the "stinger"....I am going to try and see if Borla will exchange...

Hi stinger,I just insattled bora...it looks great because the mufflers are transverse mounted....but the sound sucks...not much different than stock...feel like i wasted $$$$$...fyi..i`d rather have the sound with the bad looks...

Sorry,I was in a wise ass mood......i-pod...ya know...personal music with earphones.....in reality though...if you listen to the radio for news/sports...well not any good. sorry for the wise reply...

I for one drive 75% of the time with the radio off...so it is not an issue for me...I thought I might ask you this??? Why not put your I-pod in your car????

Read all the replies in the above link...the noise I have is NOT in the tranny,it is definately localized in the shifter itself. It is a high pitched vibration/rattle noise for lack of a better desciption and I can exert force on the shifter while the noise is present and change the intensity..I...
