thanks for the info, i was concerned that was the issue as well. what i did as a test last night was cleaned the key resister (that didnt help). then i got bold and decided to see if i could reset the system and disconnected the negative on the battery, everything went out of course...

I have 2 dead BOSE speakers/amps for my 1988. Is there a way to put in new amps and speakers in all 4 locations with using the existing wiring harness at each location? What I'd be doing is putting in 4 aftermarket amps and speakers at each location. Not going to replace the radiohead unit...

Good morning! New member here :) Just bought a 1988 corvette, the seats move forward and backwards, but the seat buttons/ lumbar doesn't work. Is the lumbar controlled by the seat track or something different under the seat? Also the power door lock switch works, when you push it the door...
