Another thing I'll have to address with my new to me '87 is that the plastic end piece that hooks to the throttle assembly is broken. The piece is there but the part that hooks on is gone. Is there any way these can be repaired to keep in use or does the entire cable have to be swapped out...

Great. That is what I figured. After looking at the connector again, the back connector on the three way "Bulb" is broken off, that's why it didn't make sense to me. Can I buy that connector at any auto parts store or do I have to get it from GM?

The driver side motor went up when I plugged THAT side into the relay to/from the passenger side. And I did the opposite with the passenger side. No work. That is why I am thinking that the fusable link on the red wire to the driver side is faulty. It says something about "Heavy duty...
