Early Corvette tail lights
The 1953 to 1960 Corvette's had different types of tail lights than the traditional round ones and they were single lights on each side
Corvette tailight changes
These new tailights on the 2014 is I believe the 4th change since 1953 and is a change that follows the shape of the car
which is also going through changes.
A 2014 Corvette coupe auctioned off for $1,050,000 at the Barret-Jackson auction, This is what you pay to be the first on the block to have one.
I also have a radio controlled model Corvette concept car that actually was made full size and shown at the Corvette museum and was driven around the...
I began having a 2003 Corvette Convertible with a 6 speed manual that was a dream come true especially when I could get 30 mpg at 65 mph in cruise control.
I stupidly traded it in for a 2012 Camaro Convertible with a V6 which never gave me mpg as good as the 'Vette did and no where the...
A older Corvette is not a pleasure to drive long distances unless a more modern suspension is added to it.
If all that you want is to show your 1955 to 1980 Corvette at shows but not to drive them as daily drivers they are beautiful cars but lack a lot of comforts that the newer 'Vettes have.
Owning a Corvette
Being a owner of a Corvette causes you to want to have a safe place for your 'Vette especially when you store it away for the Winter but even leaving it out overnight may attract low life's that are envious of what you have and may try to steal your 'Vette or damage it.
Trading up my Corvette
I have just purchased a 2007 Corvette Coupe and at 71 yrs. old this might be the last Corvette I will own
I wish I could have done this at a earlier age but back then money was tight and too many bills to pay but now in my twilight years I have the ability to get this car...
Round taillights vs square taillights
I believe that after the 2014 Corvette is released for sale there will be a after market round taillights unit that can replace the stock square taillights if a owner wants this and willing to pay the cost.:D:D
Corvette's little brother
The new 2014 Corvette is a beautiful machine and the change in the tail lights to have the look of a Camaro is a change for the better just like we have seen the early Corvettes go from tear drop shapes in the 1957 to the 1959 and then to a boat tail rear with round...
It seems to me that some prices on newer Corvettes (2005 to 2009) are very close to what a 1964 to 1968 can command on the market today depending of course on mileage and condition and the 'Vettes of the 1950's can command astronomical prices probably because they become more rare as they are older.
Southern and Western Corvettes
All of you that are fortunate to live in snow free climates I hope you have great rides in the months to come, Unfortunately we here in Michigan store our 'Vettes December until March or until the ice and snow(and salt) is off our roads but the good side of this...
Showing off my C6 2007
This 2007 Corvette I bought in October is the sharpest car I have ever had and I plan to keep this car no matter what may happen.
Since I am 71 years old I realized that if I didn't get the Corvette of my dreams now I might never get one and whatever years I have left I...
My Corvette as a investment
A very good point was made about the reality of keeping a Corvette as a investment which is not what you should do it is enjoying the car whether you are driving it or showing it off at a car show.
I told my son that my Corvette could be his depending on how he...
Stolen Corvettes
Back in the 60’s a new Corvette could be stolen no matter what a owner might try to do because the sophistication was not there and any smart thief could hot wire a Corvette, The best way might be to take out the ignition rotor so the car wouldn’t start.
A thief doesn’t want to...
