I simply keep the battery charged with what is called a float charger.
The more modern the car; the more they may draw when shut off.. A float charger the battery charged.

Swell is 100% correct and IMO, putting it mildly..
An O-Ring fits in an annulus (groove) and in a bore.. It stretches slightly in the groove and is compressed slightly in the bore which provides a seal.. Now, consider what happens when an O-Ring swells in the bore and groove....
DOT 5 is silicone based and DOT 5.1 is back to glycol based the same as DOT 3 and 4. Actually they are poly-glycol based..

I'm a Ham operator and shortwave listener which means I notice antennas.. I don't see as many antennas on interstate rigs as compared to the past when almost truck had one. Perhaps the cell phone's ability to "phone home" so easily has replaced CBs??
I replaced it with an 84 Z/28, swapped the 305 for a pre-smog 350 with nitrous.. Never tracked it, but it was fairly quick. Best was, it had a backseat for daughter.. :)

As you didn't mention anything other than it doesn't work and the fuse is good... The first test is there electricity at the contacts?
