Another problem with headers is spark plug clearance. That is why I will stay with stock manifolds on my 61' instead of headers.

What about using a new Speed Demon 650? I heard these are good carbs.

What a beautiful car! What brand and "color" paint did you use? I'm thinking of changing the color of my car to red when it gets painted.

Barry, When I use lacquer thinner, I've had poor results when painting. When I use "Prep-All" from Auto-Zone, I've had much better results. Just my 2¢ Larry

If you are going to use a torch, get some bee's wax and let it melt into the threads after you heat it. This works great for me.
