    Strange blinker problem

I'll look for the codes Thanks for the code suggestion. I didn't see any warnings except for tire pressure low. I wasn't worried about that because I don't have tire sensors in the wheels currently on my car, and my runflats with tire sensors are sitting next to my car in the garage. So the...

    Strange blinker problem

Two days ago my blinkers stopped working, sometimes. I turned on the directional to make a turn and they worked just fine. I had clicking, and the light indicator worked. The next turn I made no clicking, and no lights. Then I turned off the car and started it and the directionals worked...

    C6 Z06 Insurance

What do you think insurance will be like for the new Z06? When I bought my C5 I was surprised at how reasonable it is. Any ideas? Of course if I'm even thinking about a $75,000 car it really shouldn't matter anyway. Do you think some insurance companies will refuse to insure it?

    Issues on a 2001 6sp?

Check the parking brake. I'm not sure if parking brake problems exist on all C5s, but mine is just decoration. Holds a little if the car is pointed down hill, and not at pointing up hill. I have a 2001 6spd coupe. Rob

    FS 1953 Corvette #141

True, I can't afford it. I do their website. Not too many of the 53s around. But I thought many people would enjoy some of the pictures. It's amazing how much our cars have changed. It is an amazing car. Hard to believe they built all 300 of them by hand. Rob

    Water problems Vortex ram air?

Another question before I install the Vortex ram air filter. After the Vortex ram air filter is installed. There will be a hole cut in the shroud in front of the radiator. The air filter will reside partially in the Vortex enclosure and partially exposed to the radiator compartment. The...

Install help on vortex air filter

The person I bought it from included a shroud already cut. That way I get to keep mine intact. I agree with you that it would be quite easy to install without removing the shroud. But I'm hoping to install it with already cut shroud. Thanks, Rob

Install help on vortex air filter

I tried to install a vortex air filter on my 2001 coupe. I got to the point of taking off the plastic cover over the radiator and couldn't figure out how to get the remaining two screws out. There are five screws on the bottom that attach this plastic piece to the front body. Two screws on...

    Parking brake engagement point

Well it might just be a placebo, but I tried the autoadjust technique. The brake seems to engage sooner now. I should have marked the old position before doing the adjustment. But it does seem better now. Thanks for the suggestions.

    Parking brake engagement point

Thanks. Normally I enjoy driving my car forward. But tonight I'll try some backward driving. I thought the emergency brake was supposed to autoadjust when the car goes backwards. Thanks for the tip on the good article. Rob
