I am not a fan of falsies on women or radicaly lowered Vettes. Both have to be a PIA to ride and they look out of place but to each their own. :upthumbs
My personal preference if for the PS2's. But I don't think it matters much in cold weather under 50. My tires break loose in cold weather with much less warning.

I didn't install my maggie myself but know others who have. The instructions are complete and straght forward. From what I understand the most difficult task in the install is pinning the crank. I agree with Todd and think it is important that you get a good professional tune after the install.
There is a company in Florida that shortens them. www.corvetteconcepts.com. I had them shorten mine. Same as you, I liked the looks and the smoothness of the stock shifter.
Why would you want to mix and match??? Your driving a Vette. Your car is not going to be configured for optiomal performance if you are running new tires on one axle with worn tires on the other or different tires with different that have different tread patterns and or side wall...
I like the tread pattern on those tires. How long do they last? I think if your run 345's with out tubbing it that the tires will stick out side of the wheel well. I personally don't care for that look.
That is correct. The tires are somewhere around 13.5 inches wide. LPE did the tubbing and there was a different shock bracket to make room for the tires. The inside of the tire is very close but can not hit the wheel well. I do not know what the offset was on the HRE's as LPE set it up and...
