What happens when you push and hold the button for a couple seconds?

What do you figure? About 1-2 MPG penalty? 3 maybe? Not bad for the performance increase. Altho, the add'l weight does bother me. It's going to be interesting to see how the new improved GS-X stacks up. If it's faster, I think only very slightly. Gotta hand it to GM engineering though....

Kinda surprisd that it gets worse mileage than the regular C8. Maybe because of wider tires/wheels and body? Or, as you say, the weight (248lbs) of the battery and motors?

Since I posted this on another site, it's been made clear that I'm no pioneer on this. It turns out there's already a grease gun/needle tool available, just for such uses. And, it's zerk fed. I did use my syringe on my car, and I think I noticed less stiction from the A-arms. Probably more...

Gotta really push hard to get the grease to flow, but it works. Don't know if it'll make a difference, but it's more lubed now, than it's ever been! The grease I used is Red-I #2 (NLGI) Sticky stuff.

So, I was thinking about how I used to get under my trucks to inspect/lube or replace heim joints, shackles, tie rods, pitman arms, etc. One of the things I did was hit lots of linkage zerk fittings with my trusty Lincoln grease gun. I was under my C6 that has 96,XXX miles, looking at all...

Sounds like a cable ferrule slipped off the end of the cable. Happens all the time, now that these cars are 20 years old. Yootoob has videos on how to fix. Even temp fixes to get you out of the gas station or parking lot.

...annnd 1 month later, the car is STILL in the showroom! (It was offered for $50,000 ADM to a fellow Corvette Club member. That this dealership is supposed to support!) Hard pass!
