Carfax does have a feature where they will send an inspector to examine any car you're interested in. It costs $99. I did it for my sons car. Just a little extra insurance.
I don't know about the cam, but I do have a 90 and it has a roller cam. The Summit catalog has the Crane cam listed as being for computer controller vehicles. I would think it would be a roller. I was looking at the Lunati cam listed as 213-int. 219-exh with 454 &468 degrees of life at .500...

That's what Mid-America says about them. I looked at their website also, but they had no photos of the system. It's hard to gauge just what they are like. I have heard from others that they sound nice, but that's a subjective thing. It would be nice to hear a sound clip.
The red colored manuals are only for sale in states that voted for George Bush. The blue manuals are sold in states that voted for John Kerry. As you might expect, the red manuals are more remedial than the blue ones.:L
I'm sorry, I don't have any experience with dyno software, but DeskTop Dyno 2000 is supposed to be good. It seems resonably priced also. Hope this helps.
