My 1987 TPI engine runs at a constant and consistent 200 degrees, unfortunately the overheat light comes on at that temperature. Do I have a faulty sensor/sender unit? Would replacing it correct the issue?

Not sure if this applies. I had my wobbly tilt mech redone by a specialist who deals mostly with ignition switch/links, etc. in cars that have been stolen. She came to the house and did the work in about a half hour and charged $60--I was looking at $300 from Pontiac.
