I did not use 1500 grit, just the 320. The 320 seemed to do the job as far as taking the stains off of the center cap. I did it very lightly. I do have 1500 grit, i will do a wet sand with that and then polish them. thanks

thanks Stang. the other day I put preminum gas in and ran the shit out of it. So far no more stalling. Maybe it was the fuel. But I have to run it some more to be convinced that that is the problem. I don;t know if it has orginal fuel injectores or not.

Hi Muddy, how are you? I put some preminum gas in the Vette and took it to 81 last night. Ran great. I also ran it tonight without any stalling. Do you think it could have been the fuel that was making it stall? That is not to say it will not stall tomorrow but so far so good Bob

Very nice car...It is nice to see guys that keep car of their cars. I have a 88 for a few months not (first vette) and my friends are always giving me the business for cleaning it and buying new things to put on it...well at least I am having fun :)
