    Spicer u-joint part number

That's a good idea. I told the spicer dealer that I would bring in one of my old ones to be sure the new one would fit. They have assured me that they can get what I need. We'll see. Thanks for the input. Tom

    Spicer u-joint part number

Thanks, that's great information. I got the 5-799x number of this forum, but when I went to the Spicer dealer here, they told me that is was not what their book called for in my application. They did not show the half shaft number at all, and I don't have the number for the drive shaft in...

Can anyone out there tell me the Spicer part number for the u-joints on my 95 six speed, both the half shafts and the drive shaft?

Help! Back up lights don't work 95 C4

If yours is a six speed, there is a switch on the drivers side of the transmission. You might check that.

best aftermarket shifter for a 1990 six speed

No, no problems with going into reverse. From what I've heard, it is a little stiffer than the Hurst, but I go to reverse as easily as the forward gears.

    Replacement Opti

My original opti was working when I replaced the waterpump at 86,000 miles. I replaced the opti with an AC that I found on ebay for $215. That was 11,000 miles ago, and I expect it to go for years. The MSD is no doubt an excellant unit, but I don't think its worth more than twice the price of...

best aftermarket shifter for a 1990 six speed

I have the B&M on my 95, and love it. It's a street car, and it isn't bad at all. Much shorter throws than the Hurst. I can shift with my wrist.

New TB, now intake hose wont fit!

You might try heating up the intake rubber with a hair dryer, and stretch it over the mouth of the TB. I have a BBK 52 mm, and it fits with just a bit of a stretching.

Connecting BBK TB to the air duct

I have the same 52 mm on my 95. No problems with it, just use a little heat to make it soft, and it fit easily.

    Hood Emblem....HELP!!!

I bought mine from the local Chevy dearlership. It had double sided tape and the nuts both. Five minute job. Maybe you should check with the dealership first.

    Quick question on knock sensors...

My Helms for my 95 says to not put any sealant on the sensor threads, as this will affect the sensors ability to pick up knocks. It further states that the sensors are coated at the factory. If you are re-installing the old sensors and the coating has been dsturbed, you might be able to use a...

    Head porting service?

I guess I should have asked for a "cool license plate name" instead of performance ideas....

    Head porting service?

I have purchased a set of used lt4 heads, and would like to have them ported before I put them on the engine. Can anyone recommend a good place to have this done? Thanks, Tom

    LT4 LT4 Knock Sensors

After I put 1.6 full roller rockers on my 95, I changed the knock module to the Lt4 one. No difference. I changed back to the original one to check, and still could detect no difference between the two. Quarter mile times did not change.

    flowmaster force 11

I put the flowmaster force II on my 95, and love it . No interior resonance, and not too loud until you get on it. I would buy it again.
