Thanks for posting :thumb There was a blurb in Motor Trend? a while back, that just the base Vette would be out first, with Grand Sport a year later, and Z06, later still. Do you know any more about that?

Any kind of 6 cylinder in a Vette would be an insult to its heritage (I know they started that way - but it was mercifully brief). The V-8 is a positive differentiator.

It damn well better have an ample "broad torque curve", and at low RPM, or I'm gonna be pissed ! :mad

Tough call without seeing them side by side. When each of us bought, it was one or the other, so no choice.

I have to agree, the front cap on the C6 is boring. That yellow pic above may look like a catfish mouth, but it's better than what we have. I prefer pop-up lights, but at least these work. I added HIDs to my C5 Z06. I still remember how my C4 lights did the roll over when turned on. Always...
