Mid America Euro taillight install trouble

Thanks. This kept me up all night reading through the service manual. I agree, the blue wire stays. I think my trouble is in the harness or instructions. I will look at the harness wiring at the lamp sockets for problems and rethink the wiring splices. I think I'm making this harder than it...

Mid America Euro taillight install trouble

Mid America failed to put both pages of instructions in my kit. I finally found page 2 of the instructions on the web, which confirmed I completed the wiring correctly, but I've still got trouble. Mid America's kit tells me to cut the white wire on the brake switch, which I have. The...

    Secret rear panel

The easiest access is through a taillight hole. You can also remove the entire license assembly by removing (4) T-15 torx screws under your license plate.

    2003 Seat Back Problems

You bet. There's a Service Bulletin all about it. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/kb/question.php?qstId=277 Ken Robb also wrote a nice article on how to fix it yourself. When I find it, I'll forward the link.

    McCord cutout group purchase

There's a group purchase forming on the CorvetteForum for McCord electric cutouts. You can open these up with a switch inside the cockpit. Open them up partially or wide open. Quiet when you want it and rowdy at the flip of a switch. Make that Rustang leave a fluid spot beneath it at the...

    Well, I did it...50th over a new C6

The C5 is a great machine. You made a great decision, I'm sure you studied the choices. Just get it out and enjoy it. Life should be played forward, not in reverse.

    Commemorative/50th

All 2003 models have this badge on the nose and tail. It was on all colors. The fender badge is uniqie to the Anniversary Edition, which was Anniversary Red. Check it out at www.50thregistry.com .

    Commemorative/50th

All of the 2003 models had the same silver nose and tail badges. These had "50th Anniversay" lettered in the half moon at the top of the badge. The 50th Anniversary Edition was Anniversary Red and had additional 50th badges on the fenders, as shown below.

    50th Anniversary Edition Convertible

I'd think there was still room in that price of $49k. Many dealers are selling new 04's for hi 30's and low to mid 40's. Not all dealerships can operate on this level, but many 04's were deeply discounted. This sell-off brought down the resale price of all C5's imo. This model year depreciation...

    2003 anniversary model Question

G90 and G92 are both codes for the 3.15:1 performance axle. One is what is called a merchandised option code and/or build sheet, where the other is the option code used on your data plate. My build sheet shows a G90 code for the perf axle. The Corvette Blackbook shows the option as G92, so I...

No clue. DTC codes usually have a format of one letter, followed by 4 numbers, like "U1234". When you find out what it is, please let us know.
