I just drove a black /'03 or'04 Targa. I didn't pay much to detail but I think it had a 50 anniversary round metal sticker on the nose. It also had a 50th manula / pen the car had 5500 miles on it wwith 2 tops. I just diidn't pay attention that much but my black book doesn't mention black as a 50th or Commenorative edition color. Any help /

Confirmed

This was an '03. Again the Black book doesn't mention Black as a color for 50th anniversary badges. Think somebody got cute with this car?
Thanks,

This '03 had 5500 miles, 2 tops auto HUD and I don't know what. Really just drove it for the heck of it. They wanted 37900. That's kinda hifg isn't it? Maybe with both tops? You guys know this stuff I haven't looked lately and her in eastern N.C. every time I price one the zip code makes them even higher I don't understand that but its true on any brand. Again thanks for the input.

Too high. That car sold for less than $45,000 new. It is two years old and it is marked down $7000 for depreciation. I would bet that you could find a better deal somewhere else.

All of the 2003 models had the same silver nose and tail badges. These had "50th Anniversay" lettered in the half moon at the top of the badge. The 50th Anniversary Edition was Anniversary Red and had additional 50th badges on the fenders, as shown below.

Two different things here: All 2003 got anniversary badges. The anniversary model itself was different. It had the red paint and shale interior with the champaigne wheels. But a black 2003 would have 50th anniversary emblems on it.

All 2003 models have this badge on the nose and tail. It was on all colors. The fender badge is uniqie to the Anniversary Edition, which was Anniversary Red. Check it out at www.50thregistry.com .

wwr,

I merged the other thread ("Confirmed") in here. It looked like it was the same subject. (Did you click the New Post button instead of reply? If I am in error, let me know.
