Just dug out the window stickers on both cars... the 2003 Z06 is;; 19 city & 28 highway..never happened ! I usually do 12 city and 24 highway, maybe due to the FACT that GM upped the HP by 25 or 30 for the 50th .(evaluation of all LS6 that were tested for 2003 showed a Dyno of 25 to 35Hp higher...

I bought Both of the Z06's, new, not sure what the gearing is. But the 2003 ZO6 does have 405HP (according to GM the 03 is closer to 440HP) and the 08 Z06 is 505HP and gas milage is LOWER according to the experts than the base coupe's and rag tops....

Strange that GM is talking about moving production of their OTHER 2 seater sports cars to Bowling Green. The caddy XLR production has been cancelled and the car has disappeared from the assembly line at BG. maybe GM is already prepareing for those V-6 cars at BG plant
