Doug - Product choice is a highly personal preference discussion. The process is always the most important aspect, and it's best if you can try a few different products to see what *you* like best.

Be cautious when using the Absorber. They have no nap to "cushion" any missed dirt, etc., which can lead to scratching and/or swirling.

Armor All is a water-based dressing and will not have a negative effect on the dash or other interior pieces. It may not be my first choice of interior dressing, but it won't harm anything.
There's not necessarily a concrete definition for every term used in detailing. I was just clarifying that Z5 Pro and Z2 Pro are pure sealants and not abrasive/cleaning polishes.

There are a multitude of products out there that will look great (some more durable than others). It really boils down to how often you are wanting to apply something.
Although sealants are primarily designed for paint, they work on any hard, non-textured surface - paint, glass, wheels, bumpers (chrome and paint), etc.
