I did the same at a Sunoco during college John. Full uniform, pump the gas, check the oil, transmission fluid etc. Good thing too though, once a foreigner came in with a Mercedes and wanted to put the gas into his radiator.:L
Loved when the women in short shirts and low cut tops would drive...
Those are a good idea, but I don't think they'll help my problem with #1 on my 454. With stock exhaust manifolds, there is very, very little room to use any spark plug socket. Even the "thin walled" sockets I've seen don't look thin enough.
Thanks for the chart Bob. My 454 is simply a rebuilt & built up engine. Not factory Spec High performance or heavy duty.
Yeah, it's a little sluggish off the line with that M-22. For now I think I'm gonna swap the diff to a 4.11 unit. That will give me 9.04 overall compared to 7.39 now...
What rear end ratio are you using and do you like the acceleration?
I'm running a 454 with an M-22 with a 3.36 rear and think my results could be better.
I did have an M-20 with my SB. When I swapped in the BB I thought it would work better with an M-22.
I'm thinking of switching to a 4.11...
I bought a used Series 4 rear end carrier(differential), the code is correct for 4:11 gears that year.
BUT! Is there any way to confirm that the gears inside are really 4:11's?
