sometime a bad alternator can cause the choke light to stay on even when it appears it's charging. Not really sure why it does this maybe someone else knows why. But this happened twice on my old 82 LG-4 trans am. After replacing it with a higher dollar rebuilt alternator and a GM remanfactured...
So it might be easy to fix whats missing? this grant wheel has like 6 small screws that hold it onto the column. Do you have any sources for who sells everything I could need to get it working right again
it's not dissasembled, basically has some pos grant steering wheel on it and the steering wheel slides in and out so I am not sure what is missing. aside from that column seems tight and everything else works.
so whatever is involved with the telescopic portion is probably all missing.
what kind of resin would you use to bond a unknown resin to smc? I'm trying to bond the remains of a longstyle l88 hood scoop to my 82's hood. also what is best resin and filler to blend it all back in?
well, I've made all my marks to get the hood scoop centered on this hood. Tomorrow I will probably cut the hole in my 82 hood and start installing this hood scoop. Probably going to be alot of blending involved to make it look right.
Hard thou to see out the windshield compared to the stock...
Mine is missing stuff and I'de like to put it back to how it should be. If you can do this let me know and I will ship the column to you.
you must have good standing on this website for me to ship it to you to perform the work. and be able to re-dye the column, and replace any worn parts.
thanks

see what I think is possible is this. outline like you said and bond some flush bonding strip pieces to the underside of the hood then bond the scoop in like this and fiberglass and more fiberglass so the remnants of this long style L88 hood is strong.
this was a crappy hood I bought on ebay...
I am looking for a 1979-1981 corvette FACTORY hood. As long as the bolt patterns match my 1982 hood that is all I am looking for thats important. The inner frame MUST be in perfect condition with NO stripped holes. Outside condition of hood not overly important.
I realize 1982 has the...

I apologize what seemed a easy task, I didn't realize you live in norway and its not as easy as finding the resistance and walking into a GM dealership and saying you need say a code 7 passkey.
I might have a verified code 15 pass key decoder I will look for it today I am not sure...
I need help grafting/bonding a hood scoop to my stock 1982 hood. My hood is smc verses the scoop I believe hand laid mat and the outside is gelcoated on the hoodscoop.
I basically want to cut the center section of my hood out and blend this scoop in. At the same time brace it as well for a...
