Mine has two pieces of some type of plastic that use existing screw holes on the front part of the fender. I don't recall if it came with longer screws or not. I can tell you the bra is one pain in the rear to put on.

I agree the G.M. red hi-po wires are the best bang for the buck. As mentioned the aluminum sleeves are a heat shield. The G.M. engineers put them on for a reason. I'd leave them on.

Before I got my wheels I thought very long and hard about the the size. I originally wanted 18/19 to keep the same "look". After seeing the 18/19 a few times I went with the 19/19. Ya tires are a bit more $ but I would not have been happy with 18/19. D you might try here for some wheels.

What part was replaced the last few times? The motor or the regulator? The relays in the regulator that control the door locks and window are known for going bad.

Yes you can adjust the latch up and down buy loosing the bolts that hold it. You might try lowering the rubber stop on the side an 1/8" or so first depending on how the hood lines up with the fender.
