    Battery voltage

In order to keep your get away car reliable :) check into Column Lock Bypass :D. There is lots of different opinions about it but it is a cheep insurance that guarantees you will not get stuck (for the column lock issue anyway). I had mine for 2 1/2 years and no issues. It's something you wont...

    Battery voltage

Never opened one but from the specs Optima uses different technology in the way they put their batteries together. First there are no submerged plates, instead there are wound layers with gel instead liquid. This is a real lame explanation, read their web site to find out more. As for the...

    Battery voltage

I've been running with the Red top Optima for two years now without any problems. Out here heat kills batteries fairly quick. I also use Optima in my boats, I like the fact that it will not spill all over the computer just bellow it.

How Much Are YOU Paying For Gas?

Filled one car last night at Chevron at $3.969 and another this morning at $4.099. So for $150 I'm good for 4 to 6 days ;squint:. The bi%&ch is that I remember the time when $10 would last me all week and that is while driving old gas guzzler!!! I won't mention that an attendant filled the car...

    Question: Vararam intake

Thanks for the offer:beer. I'm curious what my unit will look like when it comes in. I think I'll dry fit everything outside of car, if there is a fit issue for the filter I can make a plastic shim or spacer for the mating surfaces. I'm fortunate in that I have full CNC plastic shop at my...

    Question: Vararam intake

Thanks for all the input. I'll be getting the Vararam on Monday and installing it over the weekend. You have put me at ease about this system, it seams that all the benefits out way the cons. Thanks again, Zig.:w

    Question: Vararam intake

WOW, these are impressive numbers for just an intake. Living in So-Cal water ingestion is not a big concern for me. The quality of filter and surging problems are a concern, at least what I read about it. Being nose feeder potential of inhaling bugs and small road junk seams inevitable. How...

    Question: Vararam intake

I've just bought the new Vararam VR-2B intake on e-bay. Bought it on impulse but now I'm having second thoughts about the purchase. Can anyone tell me from experience how the system worked for them. Do you like it, can you tell a difference in performance and have you had any problems. Normally...

    Lost Locking Lug Nut Key

Weld putty always worked for me, but just in case it don't, just drive down to the city , park it and within 15 minutes it will be on blocks with wheals off;LOL;LOL;LOL

    Lost Locking Lug Nut Key

Been there, done that!:cool Couple of cheep 12 point sockets and some steel weld putty. Meed some putty in the socket then pound it on. When it hardens just take off the lug and throw both away.

Question: The ongoing remote fob issue!

C4C5, could you elaborate on using the 2000 fab on a 99. What is required? The cost is very significant. Thanks, Zig.

    Help! With a C5 radio/cd problem

Not to dispute the CD lens cleaner, I'm just curious. The tape cleaner physically cleaned and chemically demagnetized the head, how does a CD clean the lens when there is no physical contact with the lens? I've never tried one of these because it made no sense to me;shrug, hope we have a light...
