You can check the basic functions by holding the Fan up arrow & the fan down arrow at the same time for approximately 5 seconds. The LDC display should show "-00". Push auto fan & the display will show any trouble codes.

I'm sure you checked the battery in the FOB. The fob will open the pass/door & hatch (only) when the system is off. When the PKE is functioning normally & is active you can program the system to open the doors on a selective basis. System is turned "on" & "off" by holding down the door button...
