hey tatertot,
my wifes car has light gray.its a daily driver.it does get dirty but is easy to clean.i think white would be a chore if you drive the vette often.with us the biggest problem is the blue coming of our levis jeans .the main thing is to get a color you like, that makes it easier.

sounds like maybe 2 surfaces may not be flat or maybe warped .you could also have someone crank the engine as you spray the either. i would think a leak that big you could almost see. good luck.
jeff
to find a vacuum leak ive used either/starting fluid.with the engine running give it a quick shot spray at joints and gaskets. the engine will rev when the either finds a leak.you have to be very careful and just use small sprays.hope this helps.

i too like my c5 but if i had to pick one it would be my c4. it seems to have more road feel its just fun to drive.plus it is my first vette. every body has different tastes. one day i would like to try on a 70s c3.
jeff
well my 87 was my first vette. also i got it because of ins when i lost my r index finger at work.i wanted something special to show for my loss. my wife was against it but now drives her own

well the security vidioes didnt help you could see the car but they said they could not see the act taking place.tomarrow i will call my ins. agent and check my options.my main concern now if i get it repainted it may happen again. im thinking about waiting a few weeks to see what happens.thanks...
