Glad to hear Mr. Cooksey is home recovering. Thats gotta be a good thing!
I had bikes since I was 8 yrs old. Finally gave it up in 05 and bought a Vette. Figured I quit while I was ahead. Never laid a bike down on the street. Thank God. Haven't looked back and still have no desire to ride. BTW...
Patrick, excellent response letter, my friend. You put into words on paper what has been floating around in my head for a few months. Also I echo your sentiments about buying another GM product. I'm due for a new truck next year. I hate to say it, but Ford is looking pretty good right now.
As stated above, if you want it, then do it. I was feeling the same way as you with upgrading my exhaust. Once I did it, I was happy and glad I did it.The tint can always be removed. I have a guy in my town who will tint your windows for $150., then when your due for inspection, remove the tint...
Sorry to hear about the top problem, Texastim. If you bought the 07 new and the mileage is still within range, I'd take it back to the dealer and see what they can do. It can't hurt.
Keep us posted please.
Chris
I had a similar problem with another vehicle I owned. The solution was fairly simple. The original CD I brunt the music to had a blue tint to it. Thus it would only play in certain players. However, when I re-burnt the disc to a silvery/chrome type CD, the disc plays in everything.
I went for my personal favorite, the 68-70 GTO. Never owned one, but always wanted one. Still do. I did own one Pontaic. A 1981 Turbo Trans AM. What a turd!!!! Great idea, bad execution.
What a coincedence....I had a slight scratch and scuff on my front bumper on my Monterey Red this weekend. What I did was take Finesse It (by 3M) and and rub most of it out. Then I took Meguirs Scratch X and did the rest. Worked pretty well and didn't take any more than 15 minutes to do.
Hope...
I was at my dealer today for an oil change. The place was the slowest I've ever seen it. 8:30am and no salesmen in the building!! Very unusual for this dealership. I was talking to a buddy of mine who works there and he said that last weekend they sold 18 cars, which they were thrilled about...
Rob,
When I bought my 07, I recieved a free 3year subscription to Corvette Quarterly. I recieved a letter in the mail yesterday, from Corvette Quarterly, stating basically what you have posted but also including a website to take a survey. I haven't done that yet, so I can't tell you what it's...
Probably. If it's the same ones I'm hearing in/on mine, it sounds as if the creaking is coming from the tops lid or waterfall area behind the seat??
BTW - Welcome to CAC!!
Same here. Ever since we lost Dale Sr., Nascar hasn't been the same for me. And for some reason, when Toyota came into the picture, it just hit me the wrong way for some reason. I guess because of the word "American" in Nascar, I dunno.
Anyway, I got off topic here. I agree with 6shooters post...
This happened to me back in the day when I had my 80. Check the fuse first. That was the problem with mine, I think. It was back in 82 or 83 when it happened to me, so my memory might be foggy. I do remember though, it was nothing like a circuit board, just a simple fix. Thats why I'm saying the...
