    Help! Car Backfiring

A bad intake valve spring caused my 69 SS396 Chevelle to backfire thru the carb under load.......... Easy to check too! Just pull the valve covers and look at each spring. If you find one that's broken, either fix it yourself or put the covers back on and get it to a shop. Andy :w

Question: Portable Garage for the C5

I have my C5 in a 10 x 20 storage locker, and the 20 ft dimension is fine, but the 10 ft. wide dimension doesn't leave very much room to get out once the Vette is in there. I would say 12 ft. wide is the minimum if you're gonna work on it, and 15 ft. wide would be my choice! :thumb Don't cut...

Wanted to share fresh paint photo's.

Corvette stories that revolve around family are ALWAYS neat! I have kept my C5 in Florida since I bought it in 2006, and as far as I can tell it never left the state! This year I decided to bring it to Massachusetts to have some fun over the summer, and when my 4 year old Grandson saw it for the...

    Sad Member News To Report

John, I only know your Dad from the posts here, but I always enjoyed reading what he had to say. Always well thought out, always non-confrontational, and always within the theme if the post. He was also a member of CorvetteFlorida if I'm not mistaken, and we'll miss him over there as well...

    Question: 2000 Sun Visors

I have the same problem. Is there an aftermarket product out there that can be purchased to replace the entire visor? The "ears" on both of mine have also ripped away from the main visor inside, and I would just like to replace both of them. Andy :w

    Happy Summer everyone

Drove mine from Florida (where it's spent it's ENTIRE life) up to Massachusetts on April 08, and 09 so I could enjoy it this summer, and have had it out a bunch of times! DEFINITELY better than being here with the car in Florida! :thumb First time I took it on that long of a road trip, and I...

    HUD malfunction

Here's a strange one that happened to my 2000 coupe. I was driving to Massachusetts from Florida when I noticed that the HUD was acting up. The pages were changing by themselves, the display was flickering on and off, but there was nothing else bad going on at the same time. After about 2...

    REMO has passed

Remo, I raise my glass to the original founding member of "The West Townsend Corvette Club", and say "May you have clear skies ahead, may your journey be blessed and happy, and may we all meet at a gathering when we get there." Say HI to Jane Ann too. Gonna miss you Remo! Andy :w

    Help! Nose letter drill template.

I know that I would have to have an industrial sized can of fiberglass filler on hand, because there WOULD be mistakes (probably a BUNCH) made. ;LOLI'm just not that good at stuff like that. Good luck with the '62 and all of it's projects. Andy :w

Jon, I can't help with the template, but I CAN welcome you to the Corvette Action Center! I'm sure that some other members with more knowledge will chime in before too long! Enjoy the '62 and all that it has to offer. Andy :w

Question: Replacing broken Windshield in 75 vette.

Maybe if you post up some of the web pages where the folks here can see what you're looking at, I'm sure someone will look at them and give you a thumbs up, or a thumbs down. The more info you provide, the easier it will be for someone to give you a correct answer. Andy :w And by the...
