Steve, May have said this already but invest the money in Olson's schematics. They are laminated, color coded and so much better than the manuals. As stated, check the override switch under the steering column first (and fuse) to make sure the door will open. Please post again this weekend when...

Like they say...hindsight is always 20/20... When I bought the '68 from my wifes grandfather, I asked him why he ordered this car with the base motor and no radio....couple hundred bucks back then would have got a nice big block....as for no radio, just said he didn't need one....

Tractorman, Try doing some searches on the internet for antenna replacement parts....sometimes you can get the spare parts and fix 'em up yourself, alot cheaper than replacing the whole thing. Did this once for a stripped gear inside a Mercedes antenna.... Good luck!

If it's anything like mine they are probably due an overhaul......I'm sure everything could stand a good cleaning and there are a few nylon rollers in there that may be worn.....get that Assembly Manual and it shows you everything on window adjustment. As for parts, any good place like Volunteer...
