How far are you going on Hw 50? I've driven your route 50 or 60 times. It's a blast. Hw 1 will be slow, though. If you come over the hill from Lake Tahoe, (Hw 50) you will come through Carson City. (About a 20-25 minute drive) Stop and say hello. I'll have a cold one waiting.
I watched it a couple of months ago. Pretty funny. It wasn't supposed to be funny, but you know. It was so bad it was good. Kind of like watching " Trailer Park Boys." You couldn't not watch it.
Paid to much for EVERY ONE OF THEM. Do these guys just have to say they bought something at Barrett Jackson? Kind of a prestige thing or something? Man, I wish I had enough money to throw around like that.
That show was fun to watch at first, but I just can't watch it anymore. Craig Jackson...
There's all sorts of gadgets that you can buy to prevent stuff like that happening. I don't know if you really need them. I've changed two batteries on two different c5's and never had a problem, and I didn't do anything special. Just pulled the old ones out, and put the new ones in.
Staci what's his name did a two parter on installing the twin turbo setup on a stock c6 for his show "Gearz." Pretty interesting, and it only took him two half hour episodes!!:rotfl:rotfl

I kind of know where you're coming from, junkie, but I've had two flats in these c5's and it was kind of nice to keep going until I had them fixed. It's not a lot of fun having a flat in the middle of the Nevada desert with no cell phone service.
This 99 is my third c5 (the others being an 01 & 02) and I actually took it for a test run before I looked under the hood. When I was driving it I thought, "Man, for having five less horsepower than my other ones, this thing runs like a bat out of hell!" When I pulled up the hood it had a...
Any instructions here somewhere on how to remove the door panel off a 99? I need to replace my speakers, but don't want to break anything doing it. I don't even know where to start.
Lift it up a few inches and then pull it toward you when lifting the rest of the way. There is nothing wrong with the lid, they are designed this way. Don't ask me why, though.
Will a pair of front Bose speakers from an 03 work in a 99? Specifically the front woofers is all I need to replace. Is there anywhere on here to find instructions about how to go about pulling the speakers out? Thanks.
